The development team did a fantastic job, and I’m still blown away by the animated visuals. Review code provided with many thanks to Akupara Games Every time the name Studio Ghibli is mentioned as an inspiration, I’m curious about the result. If you’re looking for something fun to play, or if you’re looking for an artistic game with a solid story, then Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery is a perfect option. In fact, I think the touch screen might make the game feel a little more immersive.

I like the idea of controlling the game via the touch screen, just as much as I like using the joycons or a pro controller. Truth be told, Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery is a great thing to play on Switch if you’re looking for a calm experience.

However, with the amount of detail and care that went into the game, I wouldn’t be disappointed if I had paid the full price. At 12.99, the game’s short length makes the price a bit steep. The only complaint I really have in regards to Behind the Frame is its price. You can explore the game at your own pace, and experience all that it has to offer. However, I can say for certain that the controls are simple and easy to use, and the gameplay is calm and peaceful. I’m not going to go into detail on the story, because a large part of discussing that would be a spoiler minefield.
